What Are Flavor Drops?
Capella Flavor Drops are a highly concentrated, multi-purpose flavoring. Our Flavor Drops contain no fats, sugars, calories, carbs, or sodium. Both our Water Soluble and Oil Soluble lines of flavoring are manufactured in an FDA certified lab and are vegan, gluten free, and allergen free. Proudly made in the USA, we use the finest ingredients to deliver premium quality concentrates to you.
Do these products contain sweetener?
Aside from our line of Stevia flavors and Flavor Enhancers, all our flavors are unsweetened. That means we leave the sweetening to you. If you have a sweet tooth, try a few drops of our Super Sweet liquid sucralose flavor enhancer to sweeten any formula without any added calories.

What are the nutrition facts for these drops?
Our concentrates contain zero calories, fats, sodium, sugars or carbs.
Are your flavors vegan friendly?
Yes. No animal byproducts are used in the making of our flavors.
Are your flavors gluten free?
Yes, gluten is not used in our flavors.
Are your flavors Kosher?
No, our flavors are not certified Kosher products.
How can I use your flavors?
Capella flavor drops are highly concentrated which means a little bit goes a long way. Everyone's palette is different, so we suggest adding drops in small increments until you get the taste you desire.
Why is my flavor a different color than last time?
Do not be alarmed, natural flavorings vary from batch to batch depending on the season of the crop and the raw material that is sourced at the time of manufacture. The color of certain flavors may vary from batch to batch as well as over time.
Do your flavors contain Diketones?
Diacetyl has never been used in any of our flavors. Some of our classic flavors contain trace amounts of Acetoin and/or Acetyl Propionyl. Please click here to view our flavor list for more details.

Why does my flavor smell funny/taste bad with no dilution?
The highly concentrated nature of our flavors means they are not meant to be consumed as is. Your flavor may taste/smell substantially different in its raw form than it does when properly mixed into a food or beverage product.
What is the shelf life of your flavors?
The shelf life slightly varies depending on the flavor and batch. Our general rule of thumb is 12 months, please feel free to reach out to our customer service to obtain a specific expiration date for a specific lot #.
What does the date on the bottom of my bottle mean?
The date on the bottom of the 13ml is the date the product was bottled on. This is not the expiration date or best by date. To see the expiration date please request a COA by emailing the lot number to email@example.com
Why do I see black specs/sediment in my flavor?
Certain profiles may have natural sediment in them. If you see black specs in your concentrate, that does not mean it is bad or contaminated, it just needs to be mixed well. It is a good practice to shake or blend all our flavor concentrates prior to incorporating them into your product.
What is the difference between your Water Soluble and Oil Soluble flavors?
In efforts to provide an increasingly diverse line of multi-purpose food and beverage flavorings Capella expanded their line to include a selection of Oil-Soluble profiles. The main difference between the two is solubility. Our PG based flavors can mix with anything water based while our new MCT oil base OS flavors can mix with oil-based food and beverage products.
What is Silver Line?
Here at Capella, we know that price matters, which is why we created our Silver Line. This budget friendly line offers a wonderful variety of flavors and a cheaper price point. What are Flavor Enhancers? What do they do?
Flavor Enhancers do exactly what they say they will – enhance your flavor. These concentrates are to be used to give your flavor that extra touch. Each of our enhancers has its own special effect:
- Fizz Pop: Provides a soda style sweetness with a light fizz effect
- Sweet Candy: Adds a candy-like sweetness reminiscent of cotton candy
- Powerful Sour: Creates a tart and sour sensation
- Super Sweet: Adds a basic everyday sweetness
How should I store your flavors?
Store your flavors in a cool dry place away from sun exposure.
How much flavor do I add to my food or beverage?
This answer can vary depending on your taste buds and what you like. A good starting point is 3-5 drops per 8oz serving. Keep in mind, these are drops, not teaspoons, tablespoons or ounces. Capella flavor drops are highly concentrated so a little goes a long way.
Do your flavors contain alcohol?
Some of our flavors contain alcohol to keep some compounds in solution and water soluble. Any alcohol used is used only as a "flavor carrier." Since our flavors are so concentrated the amount of alcohol in your finished product will not likely be traceable.

Will call services are available via phone order only. If you live in the San Diego County area and wish to pick up your order, please call 760-650-0200. Our Will Call policy allows a 24-hour window for your order to be processed and prepared.
How will I know when my order has shipped?
You will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order has shipped.
What do I do if my product is damaged?
If you received a damaged package, please reach out to our customer service department. Photos of the inner and outer contents of your package will be requested. Photos can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org with a short description. Someone from our claims department will reach out to you within 24 to 48 hours with next steps.
What are your shipping times?
For products that are in stock, please allow 3-5 business days for order processing (excluding weekends and holidays). If a product in your order is not currently available, you will be notified by customer service.
The cut-off time for Priority Overnight Shipments is 12:00pm PST. If your order is placed after the cut off it will not be shipped until the following business day.
